01 Frame Type

Cold-Formed Steel

Galvanized steel rolled into Cees and Zees. 4–6 week lead times, configurable to any snow/wind load, clear spans up to 80', eve heights over 30'. The right call for most projects — shops, barns, garages, barndominiums, and mid-commercial.

02 Frame Type

Red Iron

Engineered I-beam frames for the widest clear spans, tallest eves, and biggest bays. Best for the largest commercial projects where height and span trump lead time.

03 Frame Type

Steel Stud

Panelized cold-formed steel — engineered in integrated design software, sectionalized in a factory, and shipped as labeled panels ready to attach. Same dimensions as standard 2x4 / 2x6 wood for finish-friendly interiors. The right call when interior layout matters most: barndominiums, ADUs, offices, and residential homes.

04 Frame Type

Tubular

Galvanized tube-steel kits — most cost-effective for small footprints, often no concrete required, ~4-week delivery, horizontal or vertical sheeting. Limited clear spans, max 15' eve height, limited insulation options.

05 Foundation

Concrete

Foundations vary by frame system. Red Iron requires heavier-duty pads; ColdForm typically uses 12" footers with a 4" monolithic slab; some Tubular buildings need no concrete at all. Reinforcement options include fiber mesh and rebar. Stamped engineered plans included.

06 Insulation

Eco-Foil

Reflective radiant-barrier insulation. Most cost-effective option, quickest to install, no compression issues between sheeting and framing. Best for projects where temperature control isn't a top priority — general storage, home shops, garages.

07 Insulation

Fiberglass (CMI)

Higher R-values than radiant barrier with multiple thickness options. Banded systems available on ColdForm and Red Iron yield even higher R-values. Good for shops, garages, barns, and warehouses where insulation matters but spray-foam pricing is overkill.

08 Insulation

Sprayfoam

Highest R-value per inch of any insulation we offer, plus added structural rigidity, soundproofing, and a secondary water barrier at 2"+ closed-cell. Installed by partner contractors. Best for barndominiums, offices, and projects where temperature control is the top priority.
