When to Choose Red Iron

Red Iron is the right answer when…

Pick red iron when the building has to go big — spans beyond 80 feet, eaves over 30 feet, or roof loads that need to carry cranes, gantries, or racking. Hangars, arenas, and large commercial warehouses live here. Longer lead time and more equipment on site, but nothing else matches it for clear span and height.

Engineered I-beam columns and rafters fabricated to project specific engineered requirements, shipped to site, and bolted together as a portal frame. Sheeted with metal panels, hot-rolled steel will stand the test of time. Although it has the longest lead-time and requires the most equipment, nothing does bigger better than Red-Iron.
